This is the official Website of Britain's Best New Band; THE MIGHTY STARS. The Mighty Stars are a new band from the South-West of England who stand for a Rock n' Roll ethos of writing belting tunes and carrying them off with ATTITUDE, PASSION AND LOVE. Over the last decade the music scene, with a few exceptions, has been lacking bands with ambition, arrogance and a will to try anything new (be it playing far out places or music). As a band we hope to affect people enough to re-vitalize a scene of real bands with real passion. So pick up your instrument, smash that crap Coldplay CD and get with the new scene! GROUP SOUNDS is our promotion company

 

GROUP SOUNDS  = SONIC LIBERATION.GROUP SOUNDS is a newly formed organisation that seeks to bring fresh new exciting killer sounds to to the general attention of all the peoples of the South West. Everybody is sick of seeing the same old names at the same old venues. At the moment there is NOTHING. NO inspiration, NO new ideas, NO enthusiasm. N-O-T-H-I-N-G. We at GROUP SOUNDS have taken it upon ourselves to dream THE DREAM, to do something special, something that'll make A difference and that will make people realise IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE THE WAY IT IS. It is time to do things differently. It is time for a change. It is time for SONIC LIBERATION. It is time for GROUP SOUNDS.
